Tuna Fish Diet Shopping List

tunaIf you plan on trying the 3 day tuna fish diet you will need the items I list below. Also though most of the plans do not say, I would think that you want tuna that is packed in water not oil as water will be less fat. Also you are allowed to drink coffee, tea and water. You may want to consider green tea as it is said to have detoxifying properties. As for the produce on the list, I am not sure that you need to go organic but I would definitely not get canned as it as usually higher in sodium and fresh taste better anyway in my opinion.

Fruits and Vegetables

  • Beets
  • Green Beans
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Carrots
  • Banana
  • Apple
  • Cantaloupe

Meat

  • Tuna
  • Hot Dogs
  • Chicken (lean)

Dairy

  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Low Fat Ice Cream
  • Eggs

Crackers, Peanut Butter & Whole Wheat Bread

Make sure you have lots of good filtered or quality bottled water as you should drink around 8 glasses per day according to the plan . Coffee should be black and tea plain as well.
