The banana based diet has almost a cult like following in Japan. With many Japanese celebrities giving the Banana Morning Diet credit for their weight loss success and the fact it is so easy to follow there is a lot of buzz online over the banana morning diet. The banana diet is so popular in Japan that it has actually caused a major shortage of bananas in Japan as supermarkets have faced major shortages, new sources of imports have needed to be found.

Basic Rules of The Banana Morning Diet

  • Eat a banana or two if desired at breakfast, nothing else
  • Drink only room temperature water with meals, no other drinks
  • Eat a regular lunch and dinner, but  cutting fried foods and making more healthy food choices will help
  • No desserts are allowed
  • Dinner must be eaten by 8pm
  • Get to bed early, before midnight
