The Special K Diet challenge is promoted by Kellogg’s cereal. The special k diet challenge claims you can lose up to 1 inch on your waist in 2 weeks. The popularity of the diet lies in the fact that it is very easy to follow. One big advantage is that you do not have to spend hours measuring and making different meals do to its simplicity.

Special K Diet

  • Eat a serving of Special K with 2/3 of a cup of skim milk with fruit for 2 meals a day. Special K cereal can be substituted with some other Special K products
  • Eat your third meal as you normally would.
  • Snacks should be fruits, veggies or Special K bars.
  • Drink water through out the day.

The Special K diet challenge may help you lose some weight though I am not sure you will lose the 6 pounds in 2 weeks. There are testimonials from many who claimed it has worked for them. Its no surprise that eating 2 bowls of cereal would result in weight loss provided you follow the plan and do not fill up on junk food. The Special K Diet Challenge may work even better if you eat a cereal that has less sugar and is lower in fat than Special K
